Strategy, combos, and other stuff - Iori Yagami
Kawaii picture of Sakura Kasugano.
Games I play him in: Any King of Fighters game, Capcom vs. SNK 2

Best form: I'm a bit out of touch with KoF, so, for me, it's CvS2

Comments: Orochi Iori is a bit more fun to play, since he's incredibly fast and powerful. The downside, of course, is that his defense totally bites. At any rate, Iori gets a ton of cool points from me for his fighting style, which involves slashing you with his fingers and making you explode with that strange purple fire-like energy he produces. It's wild, yet controlled. He's crazy, yet at times appears perfectly normal. Also, he hasn't changed much, like Kyo.

Combos: In KoF I just use fierce punch to link everything. =) His jumping back+light kick is a great cross-up and since it pulls the opponent to you, it makes linking easy. In CvS2 I like crouching light punch, crouching light kick to link into the deadly flower combination, which is quarter circle back + punch, three times in a row or for linking the Maiden Masher super. Fierce punch is still the best for linking his half circle back + kick throw, but also can link the Maiden Masher. The Maiden Masher is performed by doing a quarter circl forward, then a half circle back + punch.

Strategy: Alternate between attack and defense. Play aggressive, then back off. Use his fireball to make people jump in or just get some cheap chip damage, but beware of super fireballs being thrown back at you. Oh yeah, and the half circle back throw is a nice way to catch people off guard if you do it out of the blue and use it sparingly. Also keep in mind that you can use the Maiden Masher to sneak under/through projectiles and mess someone up. =) Let the shredding begin!
